Sharpie x Paper Mate
Studio at SXSW
After discovering that more than three-quarters of Americans don't feel confident enough to explore their creativity, Sharpie and Paper Mate launched new products at the hub of creativity and innovation – SXSW.
We transformed a bar on Rainey Street into The Sharpie X Paper Mate Studio, a three-day interactive space for people to explore their creativity. Attendees could try their hand at fashion design in the Sharpie Creative Markers Interactive Closet, enjoy imaginative cocktails at the Creative Cocktail Bar, and send joyful postcards from the Paper Mate Joy Lounge.
To top it off, we teamed up with creative professionals, including the extremely talented Mindy Kaling, to host Studio events to inspire everyone to unlock their creative potential with a little help from Sharpie and Paper Mate.
After many color palette discussions, room ideation sessions, hours of design work (including creating example swag with the actual Sharpie and Paper Mate products!) it was so rewarding to see all our hard work come to life at SXSW!
